STAFFING: Thanks also to all visiting staff helping at checkpoints and with transportation, especially those helping for the first time. We look forward to you helping again next year, and you will be contacted for your availability in the spring, so we can plan the checkpoint staff duties in good time. Thanks also to our new St John’s Ambulance crew from Maldon, and the “Big Breakfast” from the good souls of Guithavon Valley Church Witham.

50thYEAR: As hopefully youknow now, 11/12MAY 2019 will be ourfiftieth event! Note this is 2 wks before the late May Bank Holiday,not our usual one, due to availability of Skreens Park. In 1970, ifwe managed 5 years, we thought we would be doing well! … any ideasyou have, any contact with people who have taken part, videos, photosand cine films (!) … we’d be delighted to hear from you. Entryforms will be posted to you in January 2018 & and watch website,facebook & twitter for news. Please notify us of any address orcontact or email changes in the meantime. Please take care of yourtrophies … we’d like them back next year, pristine, engraved andpolished! If there are any missing engravings from past years,please ask us for team names, get it done & send us the bill ..thanks.
